April is Minority Health MonthApril is Minority Health Month and Real Men Charities, Inc. is happy to partner with “Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family,” in theaters April 22. Madea, everyone’s tell it like it is grandma, is back in this tender and hilarious look at love and family ties. The promotion will profile several chefs and their healthier options for Easter recipes. Our mission is to build families and communities by engaging men to reduce health disparities and support educational achievement while advocating for increased male responsibility and fatherhood. Convincing more families to eat healthier meals is a fundamental aspect of Real Men Charities. Partnering with the movie will help us to share this message with millions of people who need to hear it.
Since 2003 our Real Men Cook with Kids® programming has focused on introducing fresh fruits and vegetables to youth in an attempt to fight childhood obesity. Throughout the year our Real Men delight families and communities by demonstrating healthy cooking at health fairs, hospitals and community events as well as our Annual Real Men Cook event on Fathers Day. This is so big we are allowing women to join us for the very first time, but BROTHERS...we need you on board. Real Men Charities is also a proud supporter of First Lady Michelle Obama's LET'S MOVE! campaign to promote healthy lifestyles and the sponsor of Real Men Cook® Father's Day celebrations. We want you to join the movement too.
Tell your family and friends to check out Tyler Perry's, "Madea's Big Happy Family" and support this campaign. Vote for your favorite family restaurant in our effort to bring more business to Black establishments and showcase their healthy efforts in partnership with ours.
